I'm Johnny Perez, and I run the day-to-day here at Old North. We're a family operation out of Monroe, and we took the Old North State for our name because this is where we live, work, and put our name on every roof.
For more than 25 years we've repaired, replaced, and fabricated roofs across the Carolinas, from a one-square shingle patch to standing-seam metal and copper. When you call, you get a real person and an honest answer, not a call center.

Get a free estimateYes. A lot of our work comes from wind and hail. We will inspect the roof, photograph and document the damage, and meet your adjuster on site so everyone is looking at the same thing. We work directly with most carriers to keep the claim moving.
It depends on the building and the budget. Architectural shingles are the most affordable and look great on most Carolina homes. A standing seam metal roof costs more up front but lasts far longer, sheds water and snow better, and handles our storms well. We will lay out the real trade-offs during your free estimate instead of pushing one system.
